Please Read this Urgent Update!
Good morning Shepherd Families,
We hope you are all well and enjoying the last bit of summer. We write with some unfortunate news - due to sudden and unexpected staff departures this week, Star Achievers (SESSA) will not be able to offer before or aftercare services at the start of school. At this time, the SESSA Board has suspended registration for SESSA and all of its programs. We are in the process of determining a timeline for when we can hire the appropriate staff and reopen the program, and will keep you all updated.
We are aware that a number of families have already registered for SESSA programs - we have everyone's information and will be in touch regarding full refunds as soon as possible.
As many of you know, SESSA is a parent/community-run non-profit and the Board is comprised entirely of volunteers. It has been very challenging to keep SESSA going through the pandemic and severe staffing shortages, and we could really use some additional parent involvement as we work to reopen the program as quickly as possible. Please let us know (email@example.com) if you are interested in helping out - we would very much appreciate it!
