Aftercare
Program Overview
Aftercare provides a safe environment for students after the school day ends. The program is designed to support families’ schedules while ensuring students are engaged and supervised until pick-up.
Programming takes place in designated classrooms, the Multi-Purpose Room and outside. Students participate in a balance of structured activities, light homework help, group games, and free play, with time to unwind after the school day. Additional enrichment is offered through our SESSA Cubs.
Safe & authorized pick-up is ensured through our use of Pik-my-kid.

Daily Schedule
Attendance
Students will only benefit from Star Achievers with consistent attendance, and being actively involved.
Please provide advance notice to Star Achievers if you know your child will be dismissed early or absent from the program.

Accommodations
Our staff will provide reasonable accommodations to ensure students successful participation in the program. To address additional accommodations, please contact eric.viera@sesstarachievers.com
Staff to Student Ratios
Our enrichment programs and classes typically have an adult-to-student ratio of 1:20. For our Pre-K3 program it is 1:8. In order to address the needs of a particular student population, Star Achievers will determine how best to provide additional support on a case-by-case basis. This could mean a 1:10 or 1:15 ratio in the instance that extra support is needed to ensure student safety and success.
