ABOUT SESSA
Shepherd Elementary School Star Achievers is a private nonprofit 501c3 organization. It is governed by the board of directors, which works closely with the program director and the operations manager.

The Board of Directors drives the vision of Star Achievers and ensures that budgetary and programming needs are met.

The Director and Operations Manager principle responsibilities focus on the daily needs of the aftercare program.
All meetings of the Executive Board are open to the Star Achievers community.
MISSION
Our mission is to bridge the gap between the educational, artistic and technological divide within the community. At Star Achievers we believe that nothing is out of reach for our children. We have carefully designed a range of programs aimed to compliment our scholar’s diverse academic, social, physical, emotional and cultural interests.
HOURS of OPERATION
Star Achievers is open throughout the school year when the students are in attendance. On most days when the scholars are out of school for teacher professional development, Star Achievers will provide childcare at an additional cost. However, Star Achievers is not in operation during Fall Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, or Summer Break.
Childcare Hours:
Before Care 7:30 am- 8:30 am
Aftercare 3:15 pm - 6:30 pm

Welcome Back To School
It has been a short but productive summer and this year will be full of new beginnings. SESSA will now offer a variety of enrichment programs surely to stimulate the mind and body.
Each quarter we will provide an array of different activities that you may enroll your child in whether or not you are enrolled in Star Achievers.
Be on the lookout for exciting enrichment programs such as:
Super Soccer
Basketball Fitness
Robotics, Aerospace
Technology, and
Bridge Construction
